The scholarship will be awarded to a UK or EU postgraduate student who is accepted onto the full-time Masters or PhD in Operational Research at the University of Edinburgh. The scholarship is tenable for one year during the 2009-2010 academic session and has a value of £1,500 which will be paid shortly after a scholar has been selected.
Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit with candidates requiring a UK First Class Honours degree or equivalent.

A completed scholarship application form should be received by the Scholarships and Student Finance Office by the closing date of Friday 16 October 2009 in order to be considered for the scholarship. The Selection Committee will only consider scholarship applications from candidates who are enrolled on the MSc in Operational Research, or are enrolled or hold an offer of admission for the PhD in Operational Research for the 2009-2010 academic session.
Selection Procedure
A Selection Committee will meet in October 2009 to select the scholarship holder.
